The Numismatic Society of Nottinghamshire (NSN) was founded in 1948, with the aim of bringing local coin collectors together through the study and appreciation of all areas of numismatics, including coins, notes, tokens and medallions. We host monthly in-person meetings on a wide range of related topics, plus the occasional auction. The society and its members have published various numismatic booklets including histories of the society in 1998 (along with a 50th anniversary medallion), and in 2023, commemorating 75 years. A new publication on Nottingham medallions and paranumismatica has been produced to coincide with the 2025 congress, and is available now. Meetings are normally held on the second MONDAY of the month, September to April. Visitors to meetings are very welcome. Details of the society, the current programme etc. are given below. For further information, please contact the Secretary.

Subscription £5 per annum due 1st July, members under 18 years of age £2.50 per annum.
